If you don’t keep your car properly maintained, it starts to fall apart. It’s just a natural process. Relationships are the same. You have to continue to be present and, yes, give of yourself, if you want to have a happy relationship. Of course, it has to go both ways.
The same goes for maintaining your state of Awakening and Divine Experience. In order to continue to receive Grace, there is maintenance that needs to be conducted on a daily basis.

Spirit is always there, it can’t leave us because We Are Spirit. It is when we fail to maintain that connection that we abandon ourselves and look out instead of Within.
