The two syllables of the word Ah-Man represent two aspects present in each person. God - Ah (Divinity Within) and *Man, the human part, body-mind-senses. The hyphen, represent the Oneness, our Wholeness or Holiness. It means we are One with Divinity, not separate of. Ah is a spiritual sound. This "Ah" is the connection to our divine nature, that part of us which is one with God. *The word Man is not used in the sense of gender. But to describe a human being.— MICHAEL HOARE, FOUNDER OF THE AH-MAN SPIRITUAL RECOVERY PROGRAM
