In the July Ah-Man Spiritual Recovery Newsletter and in the blogs that followed, I spoke about what faith is, and the
difference between faith and belief and how one might start to bring about
faith.
It’s a
law of metaphysics that what you put your focus on; you will bring about
different degrees of it.
What
you do to enhance your Spiritual Independence will help it grow and deepen.
For
the past 40-plus years, meditation, prayer and contemplation have been a part
of my Spiritual Independence.
Giving
myself time every morning and evening for meditation is my foundation. Praying
throughout my day, making my spiritual connection are the walls of my Temple,
and reading Truth, Scriptures, words of Saints, Sages and Prophets is the roof
of my Temple.
We all
are at different places on our journey, so please do not think you need to do
what I do. This is your path. But I
do know you do have to do some combination (one or more) of these practices. The
Saints, Sages and Teachers I have met on my journey have all confirmed this,
regardless of their religious or spiritual affiliation.
There
is only one Spiritual Path: the one that goes Within.
Peace.
Namaste,
Michael
