This week and month are going to be about turning, turning within, repenting and retrospective.
Let’s start off with Retrospective:
Retrospective, basically here in a spiritual sense is looking back at our past. As many have said, if we don’t learn from our past, we are doomed to make the same mistakes.
But a great scholar of our time also said, “we can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” – Albert Einstein
Meaning we have to up our game and not get lost in lamenting. As in the 12 Step programs, it is said K.I.S.S…. meaning Keep It Simple, Stupid (later changed to Sweetheart because peoples ego were offended…but that was the point…change your way/ego of thinking!)
