Practice, practice practice…
That is why they call it practice…it’s the continuation of doing something on a regular basis.
Make time to be silent and go within. Find a quiet place for 5-10 minutes every day. Just put your right hand over your heart and your left hand over your right hand.
Feel your breath at first. Then your heartbeat. Then go behind the heart, where the Sacred Heart is, think of either a form of the Deity your worship, or just a bright white light. Begin to feel your love or admiration of that Deity or Light. Bask in that Love for 5-10 minutes each day.
This will help center you throughout your day. It will anchor you more and more each day you practice. Practice every day.
You certainly deserve 10 minutes of quiet time!
