Love is not an emotion. It is so much more. It’s a force that moves us toward the evolution of who we are and why we are here.
Have you ever wondered why so many people fall in and out of love?
At first, they see something in the other person that they identify with and fall in love with.” They want to merge and become one with it.
What do you think that “something” is?
It is God/Spirit. We see a part of us (i.e., the God within us) in them.
Unfortunately, our tendency here on this material plane is that we forget. So after some time, we forget what it was that ignited that love we had for the other person, and when they no longer satisfy our “outer” needs, we try looking for that “Love/Force” in others. But the same thing will happen again and again, because Love is eternal. Love is something that a commitment is made to and honored, not to be disregarded because our outer needs are not being met.
Love’s mission is to make us Whole/Holy.
Just because our parents might not satisfy our needs later in life, is it right to discard them? No, because that “Love” now takes the form of commitment; to honor and cherish. The same goes for our spouses and our fellow man.
A great mystical teacher told me: ”Love is a mystery, and so is God, and so is Life.”
We do not know the answer to everything, but just because we don’t know the answer, does not make it, bad, wrong, or something to be feared.
Love is not something you can learn. It is already in all of us. It has to be ignited and when our hearts are open to it, it will be.
Cherish it when your heart does ignite, because:
Love is eternal, Love is Spirit/God. God/Spirit is Love.
