The October Ah-Man Newsletter focuses on my new book: Returning to WHOLENESS… Discovering Ah-Man.
I believe that if you’ve managed to survive on this planet for any appreciable length of time, you have experienced trauma of some sort, be it physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. It may not be on the relatively grand scale that I have experienced, but you and/or someone you love or care for, have experienced some level of trauma.
It is that belief that fueled my passion to write this book. It is my hope…my wish…my desire…that my book will touch someone – you or someone you know or love – in a way that starts them on their own journey to healing and inner peace.
Here’s a link to the Amazon Book Page where you can read more about the book, including reviews of those who have read it. If you are moved to buy it, please return to Amazon and add your review.
All during October, my blog posts will share some of the healing tools found in the book, such as the following affirmation.
I no longer ask: Why is this happening to me? I am not a victim of circumstances.
Primordial man needed to be fearful of his surroundings. He needed to be on guard and mindful of all that surrounded him, to keep himself and his family safe. As you move deeper in Ah-Man, a new perspective emerges, because you are doing the work on yourself to come to the place where you feel safe. You have let go of the feeling that the world or others are out to get you. Those things that used to kick up the victim/protector/warrior inside are now seen simply as situations to walk through and not allow myself to be controlled. So the next time you feel the world is out to get you, laugh at your thoughts. From this fresh perspective, you will have the capacity to be compassionate without your thoughts overshadowing you.
