Of course, there are different relationships with God. Be it from a religious perspective, or spiritual and mystical perspectives.
It will have the same approaches as our marriages do; commitment, friendship, respect, and love.
And as in all relationships where you have commitments, it’s an obligation that restricts you from doing whatever it is you want to do.
Commitment is giving up your freedom to choose or restricting you in someway and agreeing to follow an agreement/obligation that supersedes your previous choices.
From this commitment to the God of your understanding…a seedling of friendship sprouts, leaves and buds of respect follows, that blossom into a flower of Love.
Love is the force that brings all things into wholeness…holiness…words of an anonymous mystic.
