The August Ah-Man
Newsletter focuses on Feelings and Being Judgmental, and I’m continuing the
discussion in my blog posts this month. You can catch up with the newsletter
discussion HERE.
So if
we are being judgmental about something, are we being also being punitive or is
it just a consequence?
If
someone is continually breaking the law (society’s, nature’s or God’s) and you
do not want to associate with him or her, are you being punitive by not
associating with him or her or is it just a consequence?
Well,
it’s all about perspective and balance, isn’t it? The important thing is what
message are you sending that person? If there are no consequences, what are you
really saying?
Yes,
it’s important to try and talk about what is happening and how it is affecting
you and that person but sometimes it’s important to take an action.
How do
you find your perspective and balance with difficult situations?
There
is our intuition, which might be our belly barometer. Or there are actual guidelines/laws
that we follow, e.g., Society’s Laws, The Twelve Steps, The 10 Commandments,
Yama Niyama, and others.
Which
ones help guide you through life?
God
Bless,
Michael
